Elagabalus, his laureate, bearded and draped bust right.
Reverse - SACERD DEI SOLIS ELAGAB
Elagabalus, standing right, holding club,
sacrificing from a patera over lighted altar. A star in the right field.
Legend = the priest of the sun god baal;
Refers to his role as priest of the syrian cult of Baal.

Minted in Rome in 221 or 222 A.D.
